I was impressed on my last trip back home to New Mexico how on a windy day the clouds can seem as if they are sailing the skies. Towering cumulonimbus moving at such a speed that can be easily noticed with the naked eye and in an instant make you feel the scale of life on this earth. I made this piece using Native American drums from Acoma Pueblo in New Mexico, and Acoma is also known as “Sky City” The Native Americans there hold a high reverence for the clouds and the gifts that they bring, so I thought it fitting to use their flutes and drums for a track that closes the album.
